TL Chandler, Ph.D, NCC

TL Chandler is retired from the United States Army after 21 years of service. He earned his B.S. in Professional Interdisciplinary Studies, with a concentration in Counseling and M.S. in Clinical Mental Health at Jackson State University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in social work at Jackson State University. His research interests include Veterans with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Substance Abuse, Social Welfare Programs, and the African American Family. He is a nationally certified counselor and associated with several professional and social organizations.

Erika Johnson, LPC

Erika K. Johnson is a Native of Natchez, MS. She is a graduate of Jackson State University, Jackson, MS, with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and the University of Louisville, Louisville, KY, with a Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology. After completion of her studies, Ms. Johnson worked in the field of Mental Health. She has over 12 years of experience working with diverse populations including Substance Abuse, Geriatric clients, Children ages 4 to 18 years with social and emotional issues, and college students. Ms. Johnson served as a Therapist Supervisor while working at Inspirations (Geriatric Intensive Outpatient) and Southwest Mississippi Mental Health (Community Mental Health).

 

She became a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Mississippi in 2011.  In addition to her dedication to the field of Counseling, Ms. Johnson is an active member of the African Methodist Episcopal church where she serves her community through working with youth. She is the proud mother of one exceptional daughter.

Sherry Bouldin, LPC

Sherry Bouldin is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a successful private practice in psychotherapy where she treats a range of disorders with the application cognitive behavior modalities. She has held major roles in developing and maintaining Peer Specialist Program and promoting the transformation of a recovery and oriented system of care.

 

With ten years plus as a mental health professional, she has held positions through the ranks as a mental health therapist, suicide prevention specialist, Wellness Recovery Action Plan facilitator and program administrator. Sherry holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in Counseling/Human Resources.

Dr. Bridget Smith graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. She has completed an internship in Family Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine. She completed her General Psychiatric Residency at Michigan State University-Kalamazoo. Lastly, she completed her Infant Mental Health and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowships at Louisiana State University-New Orleans. Dr. Smith has joined the Family Connections Counseling team to assist with all mental health needs including Medication Management.

Shuana Fletcher is a long-term community advocate for substance abuse and domestic violence. Her certifications & experience include:

  • Internationally Certified Advance Alcohol & Drug Counselor(ICAADC)

  • Certified Mental Health Therapist (CMHT).

  • Counselor for inpatient detox, outpatient settings & individual therapy

  • Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) special training

  • Domestic violence special training

  • President of the Mississippi Association of Addiction Professionals (MAAP)

  • Conference Committee Chair of MAAP, 2015 & 2016

  • Member of the National Association of Addiction Professionals (NAADAC)

  • Member of Mississippi 1st Human Trafficking Task Force
